Who We Are

As our name suggests, we do it for the culture. We are a husband and wife duo that has traveled the continent for over a decade. Simply stated, we LOVE Africa. From the bush to the beaches, we love to uncover and explore the hidden gems that mama Africa has to offer. Having traveled six continents and a multitude of countries, Africa is the place we return to again and again. Africa is more than just a travel destination or vacation experience, it’s the land we call home. Our commitment to the continent extends well beyond travel. We serve on the board of charities, raise money for worthy causes and ensure our dollars reach for right hands for maximum impact.

Brian Blake

A Jamaican National who has traveled to 50+ countries, Brian is the life of the party. As an avid adventure enthusiast, Brian ensures that we provide trip of a lifetime experiences. A graduate of Wharton School of Business’ MBA program, Brian contributes a broad based knowledge of business and information technology to the AFTC team. With over 20 years’ experience in corporate America, Brian’s business expertise is foundational to the services we provide. Brian is a serial entrepreneur and renaissance man. He also serves on the board of directors for Cheery Children Education Centre.

Natalie Blake

Having fallen in love with all things Africa in her teens, it’s no wonder that Natalie would spend well over a decade traveling the continent. With over 20 years in learning & development, Natalie brings a wealth of organizational and administration experience to the AFTC team. An experienced traveler and self-proclaimed ‘cultureholic’ Natalie is a master curator of experiences which take you into the heart of a country. Natalie serves on the board of Still A Mum and is a supporter of Cheery Children Education Centre.
